Definition:
Bacalao a La Vizcaína: Bay of Biscay, the north central Iberian Coast close to the French border ( Biarritz), salt cod with onions and chili peppers is a dish that had originated in the Basque Country, Vizcaya province. The cod fish is cooked on a bed of onions with tomato sauce and indigenious Basque red chili peppers. In Portugal, this popular dish is called Bacalhau Biscainha.
