Chinese Black Forbidden Rice

A premium medium-grain rice grown in China and once the exclusive grain of Chinese emperors. When cooked it is not sticky like other black rices and has a nutty taste and rich purple color.

I dare to find a good wine to pair a dish with fish and this rice.
I've gotten it at Whole Foods before. Its been a while. I LOVE this rice though. Turns everything that it gets close to purple.....
