Cooking Term


Taramasalata: A traditional fishermens´ village Meze served throughout Greece and its islands, having sort of a texture similar to hummus.  Made of : day old bread, tarama or cod roe, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, potato for thickening and almond milk or cow variety milk. This Meze is served with warm Pita Bread, Kalamata Olives and white wine or Ouzo with chilled water and ice.
