A teeny tiny cookbook all about the potato makes a swell addition to a shower gift, host gift or stocking stuffer. This book gave me the same reaction as seeing the addition of Jacques Pepin and Julia Child cook potato pancakes, run out and buy ten pounds of four types of potato, cream, butter, oil, veggies and get cooking! Listed form tid-bits, appetizer to desert, yes potato desserts, soups and entrees this little gem has it all!

Over the holidays, I used their Potatoes Anna and Two-Potato Pancake. Really easy, really good. With the snowy northeastern winter at full force, I will be making their Potato Gnocchi. Come spring time the Provencal Vegetable Salad is sure to become a hot weather staple. Funny how you can find favorite recipes in the littlest places! Some cookbooks you read and they inspire you to expand your repitoir, this is a book you keep in the kitchen and use period.

Helen Siegel, Karen Gillingham and illustrator Carolyn Vibbert created a sweet little volume for Celestial Arts Books made for anyone looking for a reason to dazzle their diners with homemade potato specialties!
