Hi Everyone,
anyone know where I might be able to rent a commercial kitchen in Connecticut? Preferably in Fairfield County?:smiles: I am trying to start my catering business...

sometimes they are helpful( when they aren't being trolls)

To add to Tatt's info, also check with VFW's, American Legions, church groups or other service groups and clubs. There's a good possibility the place has been approved for either on or offsite culinary work.

Another route is to contact the local county health inspector's/environmental health service office. They may know of something.

To add to the others info, might check with the purveyor reps. Sysco, etc., those sales people usually know where the ideal commercial kitchens are located.

I also live in the Fairfield area and am looking to rent a commercial kitchen/bakery. I've exhausted almost every avenue... Have you had any luck? I'm in a near panic to get 90+ mini cakes baked and packaged and cannot do it from home. I've even tried looking to rent a 12Q Hobart and rolling racks but can't find a rental co. who has the equipment.:eek:

my kitchen is in a 100 year old church, it had to be brought up to specs for Health inspections....churches are not under health inspection jurisdiction, but as I'm leasing the kitchen and it's my business it had to be inspected.
Catholic Schools are closing, their cafeterias are available.
Health inspectors are good resources as are newspaper food writers....

I need help too!!

Hi everyone- I am new to this site and I am desperatley looking for a commercial kitchen to rent. My friend wants to start her own small business and I am trying to help her. Her Father was a baker/resturaunt owner and he passed away 2 yrs ago - My friend promised her Father she would start this "baking" business to him on his death bed- he told her to make him proud!! So all she needs is a commercial kitchen to rent just 2 nights a week in the sterling heights/macomb Michigan area. I have tried everywhere, churches ect.. and no luck- so if anyone could please help me, help my friend, I would SO APPRECIATE it

where to rent commerical kitchen in santa barbara, ca

I am trying rent about 10 hours a week in a commericial kitchen to in order to start my little business. I would also like to rent some freezer space. Does anyone a good place to find this near Santa Barbara, CA?

On the San Francisco peninsula, and looking for some kitchen space to rent for an established cake business. My current kitchen arrangement is no longer working. If no one has leads on a kitchen to rent on the peninsula, is anyone interested in starting a small kitchen with me? I have found a space with all hook ups (the expensive part), but it needs the equipment. If interested in splitting the cost of some used equipment and $1500 month rent ($750 each), please let me know!

Future Commercial Kitchen Renatal

All, I have a reception hall in Charlotte, NC and currently considering on adding a commercial kitchen for rental.

  • What sort of items do you need when considering kitchen rentals?
  • Also is there anyone in this forum that is interested in Kitchen rental?

Commercial Kitchen Question


Thank you. I will take a look at that site. I have had a lot of interest in my raw vegan snacks and I'm now considering opening a little side business with it. I know I can't prepare these out of my home if I begin to sell them (I need to rent commercial kitchen space). The thing is, I only require a food processor and dehydrator to make my snacks.

Can anyone tell me, are most commercial kitchens equipped with food dehydrators? Also, it seems expensive to rent an entire kitchen when these two pieces of equipment are all I need. Does anyone have any suggestions or would I just need to rent an entire kitchen space?
