caramel glaze recipe

MOMOREG,KINNIE,ANGRY CHEF,ISA
THANKS YOU...I REALLY ENJOY THIS WEB SITE...THANK MOMOREG FOR TELLING ME ABOUT IT !!!
ANGRY CHEF--- THAT PLATED DESSERT DOES LOOK NICE BUT IT IS SORT OF WEIRD !! THE PEOPLE WANTED SOMETHING VERY DIFFERENT AND SAVORY. ITS A ORANGE MOUSSE WITH CARMALIZED MANDARIN ORANGES W/ A SESAME DACQUIOSE WITH PLUM TOMATOE & CLAMAMTA OLIVE CONFIT SURROUNDED BY DARK & WHITE CHOC. IT WASNT THAT BAD TASTING UNTIL MY CHEF MADE A SESAME OIL SIMPLE SYRUP TO COAT THE DACQUIOSE..BUT THE PARTY LOVED IT ?? THANKS AGAIN

And that confit was sweet, I take it?

It all sounded very exotic, even with the tomatoes, but the olives threw me.

Either way, sesame dacquoise with orange mousse sounds like a delicious combination.

Patrick,

Could you please switch your caps lock off? I have trouble reading all caps messages and don't want to miss your posts.

Thanks! :)

O.k. I'm dumb....when I click on the post I see two items. The top torte uses your caramel glaze with chocolate in it. Your second items looks like a tart to me with possibly blueberrys and peaches inside.
Which one is the plated dessert with the sesame dacquoise, orange moousse and a tomatoes and olives compote? I'm lost.?

I'm not seeing no plated dessert either. I see perlia.bmp and snacks4,jpg, which looks like a torte with little cups on top. No plated dessert, but I'm very much liking the looks of the caramel torte.

It's not Dairy Queen.

Nope, that's not what I get. I get two images only and neither show a frangipane tart (the tart I see has a lattice top and you can see fruit inside) or a plated dessert.

Hum....something isn't right here?
