ed hume seeds-on line only-sold a 'lettuce basil' that came up like little
butterhead lettuces, big crinkled leaves and nice and mild. try them-also,
the above mentioned richters seeds is a GREAT source for cooks.
this year im growing black basil. nice mild taste, on the sweet side, and
does double duty in the border as an ornamental with a white flowerspike in july-august.
