Not about eggs but I made beef liver and onions not to long ago for the first time. Now both my kids love chicken livers so I didn't think there'd be a problem. Well, my son took a bite of his and said, "Mom what kind of chicken is this?" I told him it wasn't chicken, it was beef. So he took another bite and, of course, asked, "Well, what kind of beef is it?". I told him it was liver and he was ok with that. My daughter didn't like it so after a few more bites, he decided he didn't care for it either. This doesn't seem as funny reading it but seeing the expression on his face as he chewed the liver and asked what kind it was is a priceless memory. |
