This sounds delicious. I know of only one other chicken-pomegranate dish, the Persian/central Asian dish called fesenjan (various spellings). It contains ground walnuts in the sauce. I know it as a nice dish to serve for the Jewish holiday Tu B'Shevat, which marks the "New Year of the Trees".
