Keep in mind that it is a reality show first, cooking show distant second. You are not going to learn how to make coq au vin watching this show, so I feel my reasons for enjoying it are solely entertainment value. I have to admit it is a little fun watching a group of less-then-professional chefs sink a dinner service completely while an enraged Ramsay insults them. There is some satisfaction in watching Ramsay create new uses for the f-bomb that I never thought of before.

I don't think I get much else out of it other then a better appreciation for my somewhat less emotional chef.
