I have many cookbooks from then that I acquired at the local Good Will store for close to free. The pictures are a hoot when you look back and wonder if people actually dressed like that to cook
some of the recipes are very different from what is the norm today, especially vegetable ones. Many call for canned ingredients instead of fresh or frozen.
