He's having a bloodrush to the head, can you blame him? he is experiencing a great deal of success and he is enjoying it, he is problably open to try anything and have fun with it. I don't think he believes he has a good chance on this one but he is doing it anyways,although he is a great chef his biggest asset is his "charm" and that's what gave him television success.
