Well, they are cookies that are wrapped around a tube or dowel while still warm and then filled with an almond paste and each end is dipped in chocolate. They sounded wonderful but I just couldn't get the cookies to turn out right. I can usually tackle any recipe I come up against but I think I was having an off day.
