I only want to add one thing, going along with the smaller portions- eat more slowly. You'll enjoy the food more, and you won't eat as much because your body will signal that "full" feeling before you've crammed so much food in your face that you're bloated for a week...

(And there's no such thing as too much sex! It's a good aerobic exercise, methinks!)
