Glad to share with you all!
Vivian, I’ll try to post whatever else I can remember. A lot of memories went into hiding with jet lag so I’m sure they’ll resurface soon.
Chrose, you’re probably right about the smells.. The light coat of snow on the ground was definitely a good thing. Mind you, the garage smelled a bit smoky from the burnt hay against the pig’s skin. So it wasn’t too fowl. You should definitely consider a trip abroad; it’s good for the soul!
CC, that’s great about your daughter. Hope she enjoys my little story. I’ll post about JR shortly, I promise. It was quite an adventure.
Nicko, my 16 year old camera finally showed its age, and while I tried to photograph everything I ate, I felt a little silly with the bright and loud flash going off in restaurants. The resulting pics are not great. Anyway, I’ll try to scan the best ones.
Suzanne, I didn’t even get to eat at Laduree’s but I did bring home some macarons. Some guy in the plane rammed his suitcase against my bag in the overhead compartment and crushed them to smithereens. They were delish nonetheless. You know you’re dealing with master patissiers when even the crumbs are orgasmic! |
