Default Discontinued: Coca-Cola BlaK

After being on the market just 17 months, Coca-Cola BlaK has been discontinued in the United States. Perhaps it was the poor taste or the bad concept that killed the drink. Or perhaps no one was stupid enough to pay $2 for an 8 oz. bottle of Coke! Why didn't you like it?

Did anyone ever try this drink when it was around? I'm not a coffee drinker, but my wife is, and she didn't think too highly of it.

I read a couple of early reviews that said it was awful. Plus a stupid price.

I'd never tried it - I saw it once when the Coke delivery came into our restaurant, but never saw it again, and had never seen it for sale anywhere. As much as I love coffee (black), I don't think that the Coke/coffee combo would appeal to my tastes. Guess it joined the New Coke as one of Coca-Cola's marketing blunders...LOL

I tried it once when it first came out a friend of mine bought a 4 pack and paid like $9 for it. The price was to high the bottle to small and the flavor just not good. I was interested because I like pepsi in coffee. Crazy I know but good to me. But I did not like Cokes attempt.

Big surprise. We got all these new drinks in because red bull and coke would use our facilities. Coca Cola Blak tasted bad!

It was good i thought to only have one, but more then one and you were either going to blow chunks or get a massive headache.

It tasted pritty much like what it was suposed to, coffee mixed with coke. So they were dead on with that. haha
