Default Thai Iced Tea, my addiction.

for my entire life i have loved tea. There is a type of tea for any time of day. I thought i had tried it all until i went to the local Thai restaurant an ordered a Thai Iced tea. I think since then ive had hundreds of them. I would just stop in and get one to go as if it were Starbucks. I cant get tired of them. I think i have a problem. I recommend it:-)

For me, they are deathly sweet. Both the Thai Iced Tea and the Thai Iced Coffee make my eyes cross at the amount of sweetener they use. I too however love tea and the Thai restaurant that I go to has a delicious Jasmine Green Tea that makes my mouth water.

Thai Iced Tea is an amazing thing, especially when they sweeten it with that milky-substance.

Does anyone know what that is?

It has to be some sort of creamer i think. Not exactly sure. Ive never actually had unsweetened Thai tea or hot for that matter. I need to experiment.

I wanna say it's a condensed milk... maybe I'm thinking about the coffee though.

As I know, this Thai Iced Tea main attraction is a special kind of condensed milk/sweetener that can only be find at the Southeast Asia...

I've been tried to search for the Condensed milk at the local market, but didn't even find it...
