Pepsi is undergoing a drastic relaunching of their branding and imagery to bring some new life into their flagship brands. The most dramatic element is a redesign of the "Pepsi Globe" logo, which apparently is now supposed to represent a smile.

I feel like no matter how many brand redesigns Pepsi goes through, their logo will never wind up being as iconic as Coke's. Taste in soda aside, the Coke logo and branding is flat-out unforgettable.

well yeh, for one it doesn't help that coca cola uses typical hungry colors and pepsi uses retail colors but that's beside the point. Coke has been around forever and is an international star. I personally really liked the old pepsi cans from the 80's, i think they should go retro but that's just me.

as far as the soda itself goes, i personally think pepsi is better at least for regular cola and whereas mountain dew is concerned but as far as diet cola's and lemon lime, i really think coke does it best.
