Dr Pepper, Cannonball Run, and Dom DeLuise

Here at BevReview.com, we were sad to hear the news that Dom DeLuise passed away on May 5. He was a great pitchman for Dr Pepper in the 1981 movie, Cannonball Run. Watch the clip!

Dom DeLuise was a tremendous comedian as well as a tremendous foodie. I always believed that if someone were to make a movie focusing on the life of Paul Prudhomme, Dom DeLuise would be cast immediately.

I was certainly saddend by the news as I always enjoyed his humor. My thoughts on the man were that all he ever wanted to do was bring joy to folks through laughter and food. We have lost a good person in so many ways.
