Default Coming Soon: Coca-Cola Plus Catechin, Pepsi Shiso, and other odd flavors (Japan)

Japan is slated for some new, interesting flavors from Coke and Pepsi. Coca-Cola Plus Catechin will have a green tea influence, while Pepsi Shiso sports a basil-inspired taste. These fit in line with other recent oddities from the Land of the Rising Sun, including Pepsi Ice Cucumber, Pepsi Blue Hawaii, and Pepsi White.

When visiting Georgia, went to the coca cola museum. They had coke from all over the world. The worse stuff I tasted was from the far east. It really was bad. They cannot possibly be going to use that same taste here. All they are looking for is more shelf space, the more products the more space they take. They are raising their prices here in Florida weekly, wont buy their product anymore . Why pay $1,69 to 89 when you can buy store brands for 50-to 79 cents..In fact some store brands taste better.

But no generic tastes like the real deal, Mountain Dew. Not even these crazy north carolinians that say Sun Drop is the same...nothing is the same, nor is it better.

I did not say they were better, I said they taste better. With the economy in the state it is in, I think a 2 litter bottle at 1.89 is excessive. It cost zulch to produce the soda, in fact cost more to produce the can or bottle. As you know the market gets a check monthly for the amount of shelfspace the product takes. In some cases here we are talking thousands of dollars. This is all paid down the line by us the consumers. The soda companies even pack out the product on the market shelves so it cost market nothing for labor. The biggest cost for munufacturer is advertiseing, and gasoline, which in some cases and states the franchised driver pays for , as well as paying for the rental of his truck from the soda company. It also seems like they are trying to get into the health business.by adding mor chemicals and additives to the product. Soon you will need a Doctors prescription to buy soda

PS> We once did a blindfold test up north Gave people blindfolded coke, ginger ale and 7 up ,outcome 90% could not tell difference.
