Beaurocracy....What would life be with out it?

Well, I finally have time to post another entry. I am slightly frustrated with the government as I tried to file a claim on friday for employment insurance.
5 years ago I was laid of for the season from the garden center I worked at and back then you could apply for E.I. as soon as you found out you were being laid off. E.I. takes 4 weeks to get your first cheque but now you not only have to wait for your record of employment, but you also have to do it online. You know I would not mind being in one of the most heavily taxed social brackets, that being a young, single, male, but when you see services going down and taxes continue to climb.....Well I am sure you all can relate.
I Just can't figure out why the gov't departments are always in flux which causes more confusion and hence wastes more money but hey, I am just an aspiring soon to be culinary student. I feel sorry for those who are not comuter litterate as you now need to know how to navigate through a program to access government programs.

Sigh......

Oh well, At least I can concentrate on finishing my current job till the end of the month which is a bit of sour grapes but it will help with the bills.
