our tutor designed the menu and i was in charge of the patisserie section , we had to do two mains and two desserts, the desserts of the first day i did were lemon meringue pie with raspberry couli and a white chocolate mousse with vanilla tuilles and i did a cinammon mascapone cheese to go with it.<br />
I had two helpers with me both had never done any kind of restaurant service so it was great being able to show them new things.<br />

Will post some photos on the weekend of different things i have been doing . In just over 2 weeks we will be getting in to the pastry side of things ........ i so seriously cant wait and have already enrolled in the advanced course too which will start straight after i finish  this one in september</div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>and already have my first exam next week. I tell you its all go this semester which is great. we are doing food costings at  the moment , been working on my first assignment, we had to set up 3 entrees, 3 mains, 3 desserts, on a menu <br />
adding all the different components in each menu  item that I have written up, so far I have written up 13 different recipes with 11 more to go . Then I have to do food costings on each recipe, so that means I have to do 24 different food costing :crazy::crazy: talk about making extra work for myself:crazy::crazy::lol::lol::smiles::smiles::rol  leyes::rolleyes:.<br />

 In a few weeks time we will be getting stuck in to the patissierie side which im hanging out for. These next few weeks are going to be a great refresher course for me , which is cool seeing as its been a long time since I have used some of this stuff</div>
