Tongue Farmer's Market

Yesterday I picked up a small roma tomato and a lavender plant from the Farmer's Market. I have them both in full sun out on my deck.

Because of the move, I haven't got any tomatoes on my balcony. Hoping to be able to find a few plants at the market tomorrow. Nothing taste as good as balcony tomatoes.

I also grow lettuce to go with it. Leaf lettuce, plant a few seeds every two weeks and you'll have some through the summer.

Iza,
That's amazing! I once tried to grow tomatoes on my balcony. I worked SO hard on that little plant... It produced ONE little tomato the size of an apricot. It took the WHOLE summer to grow it. The skin was tough and the tomato itself was nothing to write home about. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that I was living on the 19th floor at the time... b
