| I would like to grow some herbs inside, but I have six cats who like to chew on green, growing things; hence, no potted plants for me! does anyone know what I can safely grow? |

| Basil, Sage, Tarragon, Rosemary, Oregano, chervil, chives, mint, thyme, watercress There may be others, but these I'm sure about. However, I urge you to do some research on your own. The internet is loaded with lists of safe and toxic plants. Check with your vet or various veterinary schools, such as Cornell and U.C. Davis in the US. Don't take my word for it. And, since you didn't bother to let us know where you're located, it may be difficult to offer anything but broad recommendations. Frankly, my feeling is that you shouldn't be getting such important information on a food and cooking site. shel Last edited by shel; 11-07-2007 at 03:20 AM. |
