 Subtle Hints My dad decided to put a spicy oregano plant and a rosemary plant on my bed... a subtle hint that I should start an herb garden. After changing my sheets, I replanted the herbs and am now thinking "Now what?". Is there some special care for these plants that I need to provide? Fertilizers that are safe for consumption? I am not a gardener but I can not let great herbs die. Any advice for an amateur in the garden?

| Put them in the ground then ignore them. Make sure they have lots of sunlight, no fertilizer, and only enough water to keep them from wilting. They will love you for it and grow like crazy, meanwhile developing lots of essential oil in their leaves for dynamite flavor. PS the oregano might need a little more water than the rosemary. I've killed many a rosemary plant due to too much moisture. Remember, herbs are really just weeds that have found a purpose.
