| Although I have never seen any mention of this in gardening books it has been my experience that once my dill grows flower/seed heads the flavor of the entire plant turns bitter. Has anyone else had this issue? |

| Not true, at least in my experience. Alhtough I haven't done any gardening for many years, we grew it every summer at home in Illinois. WE let the flower head form and go to seed. The stalks tasted fine whether they were fresh or dried.
