I too ordered
"Where Flavor Was Born" based on KYH's recommendation. In fact- I'm reading it right now!
I do have one big beef with the book- though I won't share it at this time, so as not to negatively influenece your view of it.
And while it is not my personal style of cooking, I am largely finding it an
absolute fantastic read.
I find Adreas Viestad to be one of the most inspiring food-writers. His "Kitchen of Light" to date is one of my all-time FAV cookbooks- loaded with essays that I re-read again and again.
KYH was really spot-on with introducing us all to this book!
