No Smile Kitchen sinks

Hi, I'm Anne - new here!

We're remodelling our kitchen at our new home and I wondered if I could get your advice on choosing a kitchen sink? My preference is for a large single sink. I've looked at models from Franke and Elkay and wondered if any of you had a recommendation from either for me to consider? Also, what do you think about a deep ceramic (?) sink? Thanks in advance.

BTW, I've picked up valuable info from this board just in the past week alone - wow! The KA info (thanks kokopuff) was great.

We are in the process of adding a new kitchen to our house. I have opted for the elkay 8 1/2" deep double stainless sink. My best friend got the 9" single stainless sink and adores it. I personally have to have a double sink, but to each their own. We also got the 7 1/2" bar sink for our island. I had looked into the porcelin sinks, but the cost was a little to dear for me right now. I spent more money on the stove(Daycor 36" 6 burner).
