Unhappy nzmaid

Hi there

I have been given a gadget that my 7 year old grandson wants to have a play with but I do not have a recipe for it and I am hoping that you might be able to help us.

The gadget is: (this is everything on the box) Snack Delicatessen, your patisserie specialties, Kitchen Club Caky Tool with 5 decorative nozzels and 24 cookie cutters.

It looks like you put a soft cookie dough into this and put a cutter on one end and a plunger in the other and push out the dough in the shape of the cutter.

I do hope that someone knows what I am trying to discribe

Thanks a lot
Trish

Hi NZmaid,

Does it look like this?
Cookie press - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I believe you received a gadget to make press cookies. A press cookie dough is somewhat sticky. The gadget extrudes the dough through a die. You must rest the gadget directly on a cookie sheet (no oil or paper, etc). You press one click and enough dough will stick to the pan after you pull up. Place another cookie beside and so on.

You should search for <press cookie> or <spritz> recipes. Here is a link:
Cookie Press Cookies, Cookie Press Cookies recipes

Good luck!
