Default Need venting info for a Garland Oven

My wife bought a used gas Garland oven. I was told to look in the manual for the venting information but we do not have one. I tried to research the model number but came up empty. Does anyone know any info on this? We are not required to use a hood as per the fire department. I do know though, and was told. that I have to vent it because it is gas.

Did you buy a range or an oven? Have you tried going to the Garland web site and looking up the model you have? If it's a range you are going to want a hood.
