Hearthkit - just saw this in the new King Arthur catalog, and looks kind of fun. It looks like an oven stone with sides, and a rack; comes with a thermometer; supposed to cook via conductive, radiant and ambient heat; comes in three sizes to fit most ovens. Website - www.hearthkit.com Check it out and let me know what y'all think! (I'm thinking April is tax return time---!)

Looks to me like three baking stones have been placed in an oven. IMHO I think that you could do the same thing yourself without the excessive cost of that new gadget.

No way! Not for $229 plus shipping! First of all you drastically decrease the amount of room in your oven. If you're doing just one thing at a time then it's ok, but I'll bet you can't get a true half sized sheet pan in there once you line your oven with those things. Kuan
