| Hi, I've been trying to find a bare bones restaurant software that just does the following: Inventory Food Costing P&L ? Instead I keep finding POS software costing thousands ! Is there anyway that I can just create an excel sheet or access database to do this basic computation? All I'll have to do then is pry the important documents from my mum-in-law's hands, that's if she 'as kept them. She isn't very good with receipts and tends to over shop. Spent 9grand in one day then ended up back in Restaurant depot again the next day. (((shudder)))

| Yep, a simple Excel worksheet would work. It won't help you if you don't know what you're controlling though. As for the PnL, you really should consult a good accounting firm. They can provide you with a number of different accounting methods to meet your needs. Kuan |
