Hello been here often, just registered. I am currently looking at my options for Culinary Schools. Anyone know anything about Culinard, Culinary Institute of Virginia College.

Hi, I don't know the web address for the Culinary Institute of Virginia, but there is another culinary school in that state that I know about; it is Johnson and Wales University and it is located in Norfolk, Virginia; you can go check it out at www.jwu.edu if you are interested. I am currently working with another Johnson and Wales University in Denver, Colorado to be admitted for the gourmet program and if all goes well, I may be there this September. Good luck with your search!

I just came across another website you might want to look at for culinary schools, besides the web address Greg gave you. You can find culinary schools in Virginia on that site. The web address is: www.CookingSchools.com. It is described as "The Cooking and Culinary School Directory". Hope this helps you out! Good luck!

Default odd locales

Actually, Culinard is at Virginia College, which is located in Birmingham, Alabama. Kinda like the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where there is another culinary school. (Pennsylvania also has a University of California. It is located in California, Pennsylvania.)

Confusing, eh?

I have more to say/ask, but since this is an old thread I got to by searching, I think I'll start a new thread... revived old ones seem to gather little attention.
