Wink Alain & Marie LeNotre

I am thinking of attending Alain & Marie LeNotre in Houston, TX. Does anyone know anything at all about this culinary school.

I was thinking of attending Le Cordon Bleu, in New Hampshire, but I couldn't fathom spending $11,000 more for that school, then the original school in Paris. If anyone can tell me more about that program, or another program, other than FCI, that teaches the French basics, please do...Thanks.

Question

So layjo and Chef David Simpson. What info do you have on the LeNotre school? I'd really like to know.

Hello Culinarian247.
I belive I live about 45 min to an hour away from this school.
I read an article recently in a newsletter, published by the Texas Restaurant Assoc., which informed of this school getting involed and helping out with some of the activities and functions being sponsored by the local chapters of different food orginizations and establishments. But I have not talked to any of the instructors, alumni that are currenty enrolled or have been through the school. Sorry I still have no further information, but I will definately relay back whatever info I come across.
