Yawn

your shoes should have a good sole, closed toe and be leather. as for clogs, some of my instructors wear clogs, so if you want to wear clogs ask your instructor what the school policy is.

Thumbs up

"Shoes for Crews" has a line made specifically for kitchen use. They have no-slip soles and are mostly leather construction. Very reasonably priced. I wear their 'closed back' clog. They are wonderfully comfortable. About $40.
Good luck w/school.
