Hi. I am nine years old and dream about becoming a great chef. Do any of you have any tips on how to get started?,....or where I should go to school?

The first thing you need to do Madison is to cook, cook, cook and then cook some more. Being a chef can take along time, but if you really want to do it, do it whole heartedly. Just make sure this is what you really want to do. You will spend the rest of your life doing it.

Just keep cooking, and cooking, and cooking. Read all you can about cooking, not just cookbooks, but books on food history also. As soon as you are old enough, get into a restaurant kitchen, even if it is as a dishwasher. Think about schooling later, after you have gained some experience and know for sure that this is what you want to do for the rest of your life. Best of luck.
