Tongue Culinary 101 continues 6 week update

Well this was day 2 for me..
After not being able to sleep all night I finally woke up at 5 AM.
Drove to the train station and took the train to downtown Portland.
Got out and walked 8 blocks in the freezing rain.
In class,
We again went over rules and regulations, spokeabout the industry.. It was very informative.
The chef ho s teaching weighs in at about 320 lbs and is hysterical.
They made us lunch for the first time.
We had pumpkin soup, spinach salad with a dijon vinaigrette.
We also had turkey, potatoes au gratin grilled veggies.
During our lunch hour we watched iron chef on our 5 tv screens.
Now that is great..
Iove this place.
Iam in heaven.
We had to take some hysterical placement test and after that it was time to go.
Walked 8 blocks back to the trainstation in a harder rain.
Took the train to my hospital.
Changed into hospital scrubs and worked in this busy NICU for 4 hours. (I will be doing that 3 days a week and work every Friday and Saturday night)
At 7 PM I took the shutle to the trainstation and arrived at the terminal where my car is parked.
At 7:30 PM I arrive home.
Homework is done.
Bedtime.
Is it worth all of this aggravation????
You better believe it!!!
I cannot wait fr daybreak so I can repeat it all again.
Thank you all for he kind words.
Anneke you hang in there.
Danielle (babychef)
It's time for bed.

A great meal cooked by your instructor, then you get to watch Iron Chef? Sounds like fun! I'll bet the hard part is fun too, though.
