Stamina, all six senses plus a sense of judgement, common sense and a sense of humor. Oh yeah, hands like leather are helpful, too.

Question

Lauryn,
read the other posts dealing with being, becoming and studying to be a chef.
Years of grunt work, expensive education and more years of hard work. being a chef is groovy, but it is in no way an easy thing.it is maybe one of the most stress filled jobs created in the history of the world.

Lauryn,
It takes alot more than that to be a chef. It takes your heart, soul, and sweat to make it. I recommend reading "Becoming a Chef". As much as a book can , it tells you what it takes and the roads some have taken.
