I'm a jr. in High School. But I am thinking ahead. I can't aford college and I would like to work under a chef that will help me learn the stuff I need to make it. I live in Minnesota. If anyone could send me info or let me know who could help me it would be very nice. Thanks

Do you have any kitchen experience? If so, what is it? If you really want to go to school have you really looked into financial aid and scholarships? If you are using it as an excuse not to go to school then try checking out some of the resorts in MN. That's where my brother got is kitchen experience. Either way get yourself into a nice fine dining place. Get the experience and then try to work under a really good chef somewhere.

If you want to go to college you can! i was in the same boat as you and im here in vermont from north carolina. Look up New England Culinary Institute on the web. They are ranked real high in the nation as far as cul;inary schools and they have all kinds of plans that make it possible.I couldnt afford it but decided that i needed to dive in and make the commitment and have a healthy school loan payment for 9 years. Let me know if yoiu find something out chefsoon@hotmail.com Chow ------------------ Matthew
