read,read,read,read,read,read,read,read cookbooks, magazines, watch you tube videos, anything to stimulate you mind. at first you might want to just copy things you see and read, but eventually you start to see that certain foods naturally come together, then maybe you'll see that perhaps a south american or spanish twist might add even more to it, the point is expand your mind. most chefs i know have hundreds of books and magazines, not to copy but to inspire them. |
