Default Non-Student Seeking Scholarships!! Help please

Any advice/tips would be so greatly appreciated.

I graduated from ASU with a bachelors in communications. I have decided that I would love to pursue a baking career. I have been searching for scholarships for non-students and most scholarship awards require that you be enrolled in the school.

It would be great if I can land a scholarship and then enroll to the school that I desire.

Also, any reviews or experiences at Johnson & Wales University - Denver? Seriously considering that school.

Thanks so much everyone!

I would recommend actually enrolling in school because college officials will generally help you more if they see that you are serious. You want a scholarship but everybody wants scholarships too so keep that in mind. J+W, or other schools, may have scholarships available to you based on your GPA or financial need but scholarships typically have requirements and having applied or currently attending a college is a big one.

Also, you have missed the deadline of the James Beard scholarships. Also, check into www.acfchefs.org for some chances for 2010.
