Default Help for a hopeful international student

Hi there

I'm an Indonesian who currently still studying at a local culinary school, and I'm very interested on learning more overseas so I'm currently researching and making notes in hopes to be able to American / Canadian colleges. Does anyone have a good suggestion on where to start?

And since I'm also considering the price, are there any government or other-sponsored scholarship for overseas students?

thanks in advance
