Lemon Pepper/Garlic Marinade

3 tablespoons melted butter
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2/3 cup chicken stock
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon garlic power
2 teaspoons onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Tabasco, or to taste (optional)

Combine ingredients into a small pan and cook over medium heat until well blended and all spices are dissolved. Allow marinade to cool to room temperature. After cooling, stir well before loading injector. This recipe makes enough marinade for an 8-15 lb turkey. After injecting, deep fry as normal. Yummy!

Hope you like this marinades for your turkey.

1 sharp knife

1 large bowl

1 spoon

                                   Instructions

Step 1

Dice the cucumber into small pieces and place them in a bowl.
Step 2

Discard the top and bottom of the tomatoes, also dice into small cubes and add them to the bowl with the cucumber.
Step 4

Slice off all sides of the pepper, discarding the pips and core, then finely dice and add to the bowl.
Step 5

Finely slice the onion and add it to the bowl.
Step 6

Bunch the mint leaves tightly together and chop finely, do the same with the parsley, chopping finely and discarding the stalks. Add them to the bowl.

Mix all the salad ingredients together and season with salt and pepper. Pour over the lemon juice and olive oil and mix again.

Zesty Citrus-Rosemary Turkey Rub

Rubs are usually either dry, like the ones listed above, or wet, like this rosemary rub with the zest of orange and lemon. When properly prepared, it will have a consistency similar to paste. Just as with the dry rubs, you want to be sure to apply it beneath the skin as well as over the surface of the turkey.
Prep Time: 12 minutes
Ingredients:
* 1/4 cup fresh rosemary leaves
* 6-8 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
* zest of one orange
* zest of one lemon
* 2 tablespoons fresh thyme
* 1 tablespoon orange or lemon juice
* 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon black pepper
Use a food processor to thoroughly blend all ingredients. Store refrigerated in an airtight container unless you plan to use it immediately.
