Default If you can't smell it a mile away.....

.....it ain't barbecue

I was hired to do a TV segment on a novel presentation of southern pork barbecue, so we were smokin' the shoulders all day yesterday. The neighbors kept poking their heads around the corner wondering when it would be ready.
Even the firemen from the fire house down the street came by to see what all the smoke was from. Note-they had all their gear on and carried extinguishers to boot!
How can I tell them we can't share, that it's for work? I hate to see all those happy, expectant faces so disappointed.
What to do?
This stinks and I know all the crew will devour every speck of leftovers.

FNF,

Throw on an extra shoulder for the fire fighters

Any idea when we may be able to see the spot on TV?

We had the Weber full with 3 shoulders, 1 as a beauty, 1 to show how to pull the pork, and 1 for the presentation.

If you want to watch, it's on Fox Friends, the Fox early morning weekend show. The tease is at 7:28 with the segment at 7:38 Am EDT.

I'm not sure how good it will look on TV. Pulled pork isn't very pretty and video tends to make ugly things look uglier, though the presentation is very clever.
