Default help! curry snack bar

Hi
I am searching for a snack bar made from mainly from curry that resembles a chocolate candy bar in the way it is packaged. (There is no chocolate involved in this at all)
A friend did a Navy tour in the Far East and enjoyed these in Hong Kong and Singaopre. He couldn't read the language on the wrapper to know where it was made or with what ingredients. He tells me they are incredibly delicious. Any leads will be much appreciated!!!

You may want to visit your local Indian or southeast Asian market to see which "candy bars" they offer.

I'm thinking this product of some sort of curry paste and , I'm not sure if it's cocoa butter. I don't think there is chocolate in it. But I may be completely wrong. If my friends address is still good , I will ask him.

Thanks, Panini - that sounds like the snack he described so far.
He wants to buy them and share with friends in the USA. If your friend could provide the name or phrase used when reffering to this product, that would help immensely when I am exploring our local Asian stores in Chicago. I appreciate your help very much!
