Thanks CC. No restrictions yet... but it should probably border on heart healthy.

Knowing your reheat containers and covers would help. Tomatoes, sugars, fats aren't plastic friendly in the micro. If it 's covered with plastic wrap, is there an issue with absorbed plasticizers? Soups are some of my favorites anytime and generally reheat well in most any container. While not often gourmet, casseroles work well in the micro too. Phil

good old fassioned comfort food. gumbo, pot roast, lassagne, chili, catchatorie, any of these things can be made heart concious and still be delicious and well appreciated.

I'm planning on using those ziploc containers which are disposable but also reusable. Will those be OK for most things? So far I've made some raviolis with tomatoes and capers, enchiladas with cheese on top already browned. I figure I'll make extra every night and put it in a container for her. It's gonna be a long year already. Thanks everyone.. Kuan

| Don't forget the chicken soup!! Nothing like a feather-light matzo ball to lighten the spirits.
