Post Gastronaut.... The future name of "Chef"???

With all the latest technologies etc out there will the term still be Chef or Gastronaut?
If all the food is pre packaged in Lab like set ups, will the world need chefs? or just people with Phd's in food science/industry?

Cool

People will always demand the best food possible . All through history no subject has been so thouroughly explored as the art of cooking . There are more books on cooking than any other subject . Eating is a big thing for us and I do not see the roll of professional chef being replaced by gadgetry.
Cooking starts with the proper foundation and then a lifelong journey of application and growing . The knowledge that a professional chef brings to the table can never be duplicated by modern technology . Good luck and keep cookin !
