Please email Governor Schwarzenegger to ask him to keep the foie gras industry alive .
-Foie gras producing is not cruel to the ducks and geese
-Forbidding restaurateurs in California to serve foie gras is the start of a very dangerous food dictature
-The people who initiated this law,PETA,are certified loonies:their president,Ms Newkirk,just sent a letter to Yasser Arafat,asking him to stop using donkeys for suicide bombings.She did not ask him to stop killing people,she asked him not to use animals while doing it .

WOW! Thanks Chrose, I had no idea that there was a proposal to ban production on the table.

I have to say, I did wonder about the Arafat and donkey comment. It sounded a little far fetched until I looked up under the PETA website and sure enough, there it is!
Blow up innocent people if you must but leave animals out of it. While leaving the animals out of it of course is only fair not mentioning that "Oh, by the way leave the innocents out too" is almost as insane IMHO!
