Sounds to me like someone got high and applied for and got a grant to try something totally unappetizing to the masses. YUCK!

but once that one cell goes bed...we are meatless...and i am fat...so vegitarianism isnt on my list of things i want to try

The direction genetic science is going is rather frightening, but at the same time somewhat fascinating. While I will not (knowingly, at least) partake in these synthetic meats, I do think its "neat."

I just cant imagine a new york strip popping out of a petree (sp?) dish, but whatever.
