| I was watching Postcards from Buster on PBS with my kids. This episode Food was one spotlight. I hadn't heard of the Gullah cuisine, which appears to be a subgroup of lowland Carolinas food, perhaps the "original" lowlands food. And I thought you knowlegable folks would have some links or sources for more info about the Gullah and their food. I've had some interesting hits on Google, but have no basis for judging authenticity. And yes, I would like Postcards from Buster to show the Vermont episode with two moms... Phil |

| Verta Mae Grosvenor is my goddess on Gullah cooking -- she's from there, and have given the subject a great deal of study. I believe she has at least one book on it, and has done commentary from time to time on NPR.
